The Office of Student Leadership & Community Development staff is composed of professional staff members committed to developing student leaders and serving the Fordham University community.

Alanna Nolan | Assistant Dean for Student Leadership and Community Development

Alanna joined the Division of Student Affairs at Fordham University in August 2010. She served as Director of Student Activities and Commuter Affairs at Manhattanville College prior to her arrival at the Rose Hill Campus in the position of Assistant Dean for Student Leadership and Community Development. Alanna earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Master of Education at Manhattanville College. In her past, she managed programs and activities including Manhattanville’s orientation and commencement programs, advised student government, developed leadership training and workshops, co-chaired the new college president's inauguration committee, oversaw family reunion weekend and served on the Middle State's Reaccreditation Committee. She is a dedicated Student Development professional leading the Office of Student Leadership and Community Development in strategic areas such as New Student Orientation, First Year Formation Symposium, commuter services, student organization and government advising, leadership training and transition programs, space reservations, campus center operations as well as large and small-scale student activities and events. Alanna’s passion is to provide opportunities to enhance student growth, engagement and development. She hopes to further the immersion of students in the mission, values and the philosophy of Fordham University. Alanna is a native of Woodlawn in the Bronx.

Jennifer Lackie | Director for the Transition Year Experience

Jennifer Lackie serves as the Director for the Transition Year Experience in the Office of Student Leadership and Community Development. In this role, Jennifer will be working with various transition programs including New Student Orientation and First Year Formation. Originally from Middleton MA, she studied International Relations and French at Seton Hall University. Jennifer received a Masters in Higher Education Administration from Boston College and worked in both student activities and in assessment prior to beginning at Fordham University.

Cody Arcuri | Assistant Director for Campus Center Operations

Cody Arcuri joined the Office of Student Leadership and Community Development in July of 2012. Prior to working at Fordham University, Cody was a Graduate Intern at Western Connecticut State University. In his role at Fordham, Cody is responsible for managing the Campus Center Operations Team, to ensure that all guest (students, faculty, staff and external guests) needs are met. Cody is also responsible for the management of the Campus Center budget and for ensuring that the buildings are maintained to the highest standard.

Sylvia Heichel | Office Manager
McGinley Center, Room 204

Sylvia is responsible for the smooth operation of the Office of Student Leadership & Community Development. She makes sure the members of the Fordham community and visitors are assisted with any questions or concerns they may have regarding student affairs. Sylvia is responsible for overseeing the student workers and handling the OSLCD monthly calendar, preparing advertisements for the electronic sign board, approving flyers, and preparing information regarding events and services on and off campus. She is also responsible for keeping track of Senior Week and Orientation budget lines along with maintaining office inventory.

Carol McNamara | Reservation Coordinator

Carol's job is to reserve space and aid in the planning of all non-academic events on campus. She assists in the development of events including choosing the appropriate space. Carol provides tables and audio visual equipment for events taking place in the McGinley Center, requests security for events and makes sure each location is set up and ready prior to the start of each event.

Kirstin Adkison | Senior Building Manager
McGinley Center, Room 204

As the Senior Building Manager, Kirstin monitors the use of the McGinley Center facilities and provides customer service to facility's users during evenings and weekends. She also supervises the Student Building Manager Program, providing guidance and support to the student managers while ensuring continuous administrative presence from OSLCD office during all hours of operation.

Katrina Feldkamp | Reservations Manager
McGinley Center, Room 204

Katrina serves as the primary liaison between the external clients and the Campus Center Operations team. Katrina also serves as the back up to the Reservations Coordinator in terms of internal requests and provides administrative assistance to the Assistant Director for Campus Center Operations.
